Creekside Counseling, Inc. provides a variety of services tailored to each individuals' needs.
Assessments
Creekside offers American Society of Addiction Medicine (A.S.A.M.) evaluations services for adults. The evaluation of the patient will include recommendations and referral to an appropriate treatment facility if clinically indicated.
DUII Diversion Program
Creekside is licensed to provide diversion services for information and rehabilitation for adults.
Intensive outpatient treatment
Creekside offers a comprehensive program that provides individual and group counseling for adults who are having difficulties in their life due to the use of mind-altering chemicals. These programs are based on a physiological disease approach, incorporating relapse prevention as a recovery process. Empowering the patient to utilize their existing strengths and emphasizing their personal responsibility for recovery is inherent. The patient will be highly involved in treatment planning and selection of treatment services, based on the individual’s clinical needs. This treatment component is highly recommended for individuals who have completed a residential or intensive outpatient treatment program.
Individual Counseling
Patients seeking individual services for personal or family issues relating to chemical dependency or related co-occurring needs may receive counseling sessions from one of our highly qualified staff.
Group Counseling
Families in Recovery programming is incorporated into our outpatient treatment program to address the inherent issues of patients who were raised by, or are currently in a relationship with, a dysfunctional individual(s). In a group setting, the patient and family will address the personal ramifications of recovery from the trauma of dysfunctional living. Effective communication, coping with anger, guilt, grief and loss issues, as well as self-care in recovery are addressed. This is a required component of both the adolescent and adult outpatient program.
Our Relapse Prevention program is based on the Gorski model of relapse prevention. Patients will learn to recognize their specific relapse dynamics and develop a written relapse prevention plan in a group process to facilitate their own recovery.
Gender-Specific groups are designed to address the specific treatment and recovery issues for both men and women in a safe, supportive environment that recognizes the need of the individual to explore issues of addiction and recovery relevant to their gender. These groups are for both adult and adolescent.
