Therapeutic Approach

I believe we all hold many stories inside of us and that there’s real value in figuring out, together, which parts of these stories get to lead what’s next. Therapy is a place where we can slow down and name what’s here, exploring each chapter and deciding, when you’re ready, which pieces you want to hold onto, which you want to grow, and which you’d like to transform.

I also know firsthand that words alone aren’t always enough to hold the fullness of our lived experiences. Expressive arts and somatic therapies give us other ways in: creative, sensory methods we can use alongside talk therapy in service of your goals.

In addition to being inspired by narrative therapy and expressive arts therapy, my approach is relational and draws from mindfulness, strengths-based, and values-driven practices. I strive to hold a warm therapeutic space that is collaborative and creative, with the hope that together we can foster a genuine curiosity about your patterns, your history, and the parts of you that are still unfolding.

Clinical Focus

Experience working in hospital and school settings shaped a lasting interest for me in transitional, in-between phases — moments that can bring a sense of feeling caught between here and there, in unfamiliar, and sometimes overwhelming, unknown territory. Today, I work with individuals, couples, and families navigating all kinds of transitions: identity shifts, relational and family shifts, grief and loss (including the kinds that have nothing to do with death), professional and personal burnout, and the other moments of life that ask us to make sense of who we’re becoming. Wherever you’re standing in that in-between, I aim to meet you there and navigate the unknown space together.
